Whether you’re in the heart of downtown Minneapolis or many cornfields away, we will travel to draw Caricatures at your event!
We travel to events within a 200-mile radius of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and would love to entertain your event! For events more than 20 miles outside of Minneapolis, we charge a travel fee of 65¢ per roundtrip mile. This covers the cost of gas and drive time for artists traveling to your event.

The number of artists you choose depends on your expected attendance, if you are providing other entertainment at your event, and the relationships of the guests.
As a general, rule, we recommend hiring enough artists to draw at least 75% of your guests for small personal gatherings (25 or fewer attendees), 50% of your guests for medium-sized events (50-100 guests), and 30% of your guests for large events with other entertainment (100+ guests).
Hiring multiple artists allows for most guests to be drawn and shorter wait times. More fun for everyone!

When choosing Black & White Caricatures (the best option when you want the most caricatures drawn at the fastest speed), we draw at a rate of approximately 5 minutes per face. Each artist draws an average of 12-16 faces per hour.
For Color Caricatures, (the best option for smaller events, or when hiring multiple artists), we draw at a rate of approximately 10 minutes per face. Each artist draws an average of 6-8 faces per hour.

If there’s space for a celebration, there’s space for caricatures! We’ve drawn in all types of spaces, from bowling alleys to basements, hotels to hallways, and everything in between.
You don’t need a giant event space to hire us. All we need is a dedicated space for guests to sit (two chairs, a bench, or a couch) and one chair across from them for the artist.
On average, each artist needs a minimum of 5” x 7” of space. An ideal setup allows for guests to freely move in and out of the drawing space, gather around to watch, or form a line behind the artist (for large gatherings).

Setting up for Caricatures is simple. All you need to provide is:
3 chairs per artist - (two chairs for guests receiving caricatures and one chair for the artist).
Adequate lighting - (enough light to clearly see guest’s facial features).
Proper shelter - (weather-protected shelter and/or a backup location for events held outdoors).
*Artists will provide their own drawing tables/easels, markers/pencils, and 12”x16” drawing paper.

We accept multiple forms of payment including; Credit Card, CashApp, ACH bank transfer (Plaid), or business check.

While a tip is always appreciated, it is never expected! If desired, you may add a tip to your invoice, or provide a tip directly to artists at the event.
No pressure on the guests! Artists won’t solicit tips at your event but may accept tips from guests if offered, (unless specified otherwise by the client).

If artists are available, overtime may be added on event day, for the same hourly rate, if both the artist(s) and client agree.
Overtime booking is available in 30-minute increments and will be added to your final invoice payment.
